NHW blocked due to accumulation of snow, shooting stones in Ramban
Srinagar January, 14 (PTK) National Highway, the lifeline of J&K continues to remain closed on Saturday due to accumulation of snow and mudstones in Ramban district.
A traffic official said that Jammu-Srinagar NHW has been blocked due to snow accumulation in Nowgam Banihal Sector , shooting stones and mudslide at many places on NHW.
People are advised to avoid traveling on NH-44 till clearance, he said, adding that Contact TCU Jammu, Ramban and Srinagar for further updates.
He said that men and machinery are on job to clear the national highway at different spots.
Meanwhile Mughal road and SSG have been already closed (PTK)
