National Lok Adalat to be held at Kupwara on August 13

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KUPWARA, AUGUST 11: According to Secretary, District Legal Service Authority Kupwara, a National Lok Adalat is scheduled to be held at District Court Complex Kupwara and its subordinate Offices at Handwara, Trehgam, Kralpora and Tangdar on 13th August.

The Lok Adalat shall be held for amicable settlement of Pre litigation/ pending cases in the courts.

 In all 09 benches established, cases of different nature including MACT, Bank Recovery, matrimonial, family disputes, labour disputes, civil, criminal, electricity, water bills and cases related to other civil matters shall be taken up for settlement.

All the concerned judicial officers are requested to identify the cases fit to be taken up in the National Lok Adalat and submit the list of the same cases to DLSA Kupwara.

Meanwhile, the litigants who are interested to settle their dispute in the proposed National Lok Adalat are directed to approach the concerned Courts immediately so that their cases shall be listed for amicable settlement in the National Lok Adalat.
