National highway closed due to landslide

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : The traffic on National highway has been suspended after road was blocked due to fresh landslides.

An official to The Press trust of Kashmir-PTK said that landslides have blocked Srinagar Jammu highway following which authorities had to close the stretch for vehicular movement, on Monday.

He said that boulders and mud have occupied the road and men and machinery is being called in to clear the road.

He said that traffic has been suspended to avoid any accident and efforts are on to clear the road.(PTK).
