NABARD, NRLM felicitate 10 successful women entrepreneurs at Sangaldan

RAMBAN, MARCH 09(PTK):   The NABARD in-collaboration with NRLM Ramban on Wednesday felicitated 10 successful women entrepreneurs  at a day-long-programme organized on the occasion of International Women Day here at Sangalda

DDM, NABARD, Arushi Sharma, District Nodal Officer NRLM   and representatives from Agriculture and allied departments and members of nearly   50 SHGs also participated in the programm

Speaking on the occasion, the DDM, NABARD informed the participants about the importance of women’s financial freedom which they can achieve by establishing their own sustainable livelihoods.

While highlighting the efforts made by the District Administration to promote local products, the District Nodal Officer, NRLM   informed that the Ramban Anardana processed by the women of Sangaldan is now available on Amazon, Flipkart for international sale

Meanwhile, the participants performed different activities which included sharing of success stories of SHG members within their strata.:- PTK.
