Multi-Specialty Medical Camp organised for Tribal Community at Thanala- Bhaderwah
BHADERWAH, JANUARY 10: A multi-specialty medical camp under the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) initiative was today organised for the tribal community here at Village Thanala Medical Block Bhaderwah.
The medical camp was conducted under the directions of the Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, with the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr Tanveer A Rather and the supervision of the Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah, Dr Versha Sharma.
The camp was inaugurated by BMO, Dr. Versha Sharma, in the presence of local residents.
A wide range of healthcare services were provided including general health check-ups, NCD screening, TB screening, ultrasonography and on-the-spot registration of Ayushman Vay Vandana Cards for senior citizens.
The consultations were provided by a team of healthcare professionals consisting of Dr. Javed Ahmed Parray, Dr. Kamaldeep Singh, Dr. Deep Mala, Dr. Sheenam Rafiqi, Dr. Rahat Goni, Dr. Saima Khateeb, Dr. Amir Malik (MLHP), Dr. Saiqa Qureshi (MLHP), Asia Beg (Phst), Junaid Hashmi (STS) and Shiv Kumar (Lab Technician). The MMU staff from the CMO Office and the DIU team from Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) were also part of the team.
About 200 individuals were screened for various ailments. Free medicines were provided to each patient, besides imparting health counselling. Awareness was imparted regarding the national health programmes, personal hygiene and preventive healthcare practices.
