Mughal Road, several other vital road closed for vehicular movement
Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Oct 20:– The vehicular movement on Mughal Road and many other vital roads was on Thursday suspended after fresh snowfall and incessant rains in different areas.
An official said that fresh snowfall started in areas of Mughal Road on Thursday early morning following which the road has been closed for the vehicular movement.
He said that the road is blocked due to snowfall between Poshana and Pir Ki Gali.

“In view of wide spread rains, snowfall and bad weather conditions, people of Tehsil Larnoo and outside tourists are advised to refrain from venturing in landslide and shooting stone prone areas.” Reads an order.
“Moreover rainfall/thunderstorm/snowfall may lead to disruption of traffic on Sinthan pass and Margan pass roads. People are advised to refrain from travelling on these two roads on 20/10/2022. Also in compliance to the directions of SDM Kokernag.SHO Larnoo and Naib Tehsildar Larnoo is hereby directed to setup naka at daksum and Gowran and restrict all kinds of vehicular traffic on Sinthan pass and Margan pass roads on 20/10/2022.” Advisory reads further.
Meanwhile several other roads in Gurez and Tanghar area have been also closed for traffic.
