MLA Ganderbal visits Zakura, scores of PDP workers Join NC
Ganderbal, July 15(PTK): Expressing commitment for speedy disposal of the problems of the public, the Member Legislative Assembly, Ganderbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar has said that he would left no stone unturned in providing basic amenities to the people of his area,the MLA said while visiting various areas of Zakura.
On the occasion, several deputation met the MLA and put forth their issues and problems to which the MLA gave patient hearing and assured of timely disposal.
According to a statement issued NC district president and MLA Ganderbal also addressed the workers at Zukra.
While welcoming the prominent PDP activists of Zakura NC district president and MLA Ganderbal said that the slogans of change and “achhe din” had proved to be a hoax.
Describing the joining of PDP workers in National Conference as a “major jolt” , the NC spokesman said they were motivated by the people friendly policies of the National Conference headed by Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah.
The MLA welcomed the PDP workers into the party fold and said “National Conference will give due honour to each worker”. Mr Ishfaq expressed hope that with the joining of the workers, the National Conference will strengthen its base at the grassroots level in the area, the spokesman said.
Describing National Conference as an instrument of service to the people and having always worked for upliftment and well being of the people keeping aside their caste, colour, region or religion, Ishfaq said that National Conference has always defeated the autocratic behavior of those who believe in suppressing or oppressing and victimizing the masses or opponents while in power. He said that National Conference has always been desirous to take everyone on board with regard to equal development of people, adding National Conference has determination to address issues confronting people of the state, as party alone had delivered enough and remained committed to make the State of Jammu and Kashmir a progressive and developed one.
He asked the workers to serve the people and spread the programmes and policies of the National Conference at the grassroots level
MLA Ganderbal also paid attendance at Ziyarat Hazrat Babadaryadin (RAH) and visited Bakura and Tullamulla for condolences.
