Mirwaiz North Kashmir appeals locals to uphold religious, cultural and moral values at Tourist Places

Srinagar, 10: Commenting over the hustle and bustle of locals at various tourist places in Kashmir, Mirwaiz North Kashmir, who is also Chairman Muslim Mutahida Mahaaz J&K *Moulana Parray Hassan Afzal Firdousi* appealed the local people especially youths to uphold their religious, cultural and moral values and do not show the slavish mindset in any way at different tourist destinations.
In a statement, he said that Islam being the religion of nature doesn’t oppose or ban the expeditions or the excursions but everything in the universe has limits and this activity also has it limits and no Muslim should crossover those limits.
Mirwaiz Hassan Firdousi further said that the Western culture is now reckoned as rejected culture and the people of west too are fed up with the vulgar and horrific actions of this culture.
This so-called modern civilization has destroyed the social setup of the Man and has reduced a human being to the level of an animal.
He said Kashmiris are known for their warm hospitality and friendliness towards visitors, regardless of where they come from.He appealed Kashmiris especially Shopkeepers to treat Tourists as ” Hounoured Guests ” and not cheat them ..
He said Protecting the dignity and cultural integrity of Kashmir is a shared responsibility of every KASHMIRI . Let us all contribute to preserving the beauty, peace, and cultural richness of this incredible region by acting with respect and sensitivity.
