Minor girl drowns to death in Dooru

Dooru, July 20 (PTK) : A 3-year-old Nomadic girl slipped to death when she drowned into a Nallah at Kolam Chinar area of Dooru in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, sources said on Saturday.

Reports reaching to PTK said that the girl identified as Shaheena Akhtar daughter Mohamed Altaf Koswal slipped when she was playing near the bank of Nallah.

Soon after the incident, the family and neighbours immediately rushed her to PHC Larkipora where she died later.

A police office also confirmed the death of the girl due to drowning. (PTK)
