Militants shot at injure cop’s wife, daughter in verinag

Sarinagar July 20 (PTK) Suspected militants on Tuesday evening fired upon wife and daughter of police cop in Verinag hamlet of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

An official said that militants fired upon wife and daughter of sajad ahmad malik constable in police, resident of kokagund verinag.

He identified his wife as Naidha jan and his daughter as Madhiya daughter.

He said that injured were shifted to nearby hospital from where they were referred to GMC Anantnag.

He added that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers. (PTK)
