Militants flee after brief shootout with security forces in Bemina

Srinagar, 05 Nov (PTK):Militants managed to escape, after a brief shootout with security forces in JVC (SKIMS) Bemina area in Srinagar city , officials said.

An official said that taking advantage of presence of civilians, militants managed to flee from the JVC area after a brief gunfight.

“We will continue searches in the specific area and other localities,” he adds.

Meanwhile Kashmir police zone also informed through a tweet that “There was a brief fire fight between militants and security forces at SKIMS Hospital, Bemina. Militants managed to escape taking advantage of civilian presence”. (PTK)
