Militants attack non-local labourers in Kulgam 

Two killed, another shifted to GMC Anantnag

Kulgam, 17 Oct (PTK) : Two non-local labourers were shot dead while another sustained injuries after unknown militants fired upon them in Ganjipora village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district this evening.

Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that two Non-local labourers were shot dead by suspected militants in Ganjipora area of Kulgam, while another received injuries and was shifted to GMC Anantnag for specialized treatment.

The police also wrote on its official twitter handle that “Millitants fired indiscriminately upon NonLocal labourers at Wanpoh area of Kulgam. In this incident, 02 non-locals were killed and 01 injured. Police & SFs cordoned off the area. Further details shall follow”.

Meanwhile security forces rushed towards the area and launched search operation to nab the attackers.(PTK).
