Militant Killed as Security Forces Foil Infiltration bid along LoC in Poonch sector : Officials

Srinagar, 30 Aug (PTK) : One militant killed as army foiled infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir ,officials said here on monday .

Officials told press trust of Kashmir (PTK) that early morning of monday Suspicious movement of unidentified persons was detected along the Line of Control in Poonch sector.

“They trying to infiltrate were intercepted by our troops, a contact was established during which a militant was killed and the infiltration bid was foiled”.

“One AK-47 was recovered along with the body of militant, and the operation is underway in the area”.(PTK).
