Militant fired upon minority guard in Shopian, no damage reported
Shopian April 19 (PTK) Militants on Tuesday morning fired upon a minority guard deployed in Shopian, however, no injury was reported in the area.
An official said that today at about 0930 hours militants fired upon minority guard deployed at Batagund PS Shopian.
The fire was retaliated by the alert guard personnel, however, militants fled away from the place taking advantage of nearby orchards, he said.
No loss of life/injury reported, he said, adding the area has been cordoned off by the Police and SF to nab the militants. (PTK)
