Meet the Front Line workers who fight a battle with invisible enemy

Bandipora, 19 April (PTK):- With 01death and 81 COVID-19 positive cases, the North Kashmir’s Bandipora district surpassed Srinagar on yesterday as 9 more cases were reported.
But like others, the district too has frontline workers who are braving all odds to fight the deadly pandemic.
Tafazul Yousuf, haven’t seen the face of his family members ever since the first cases of COVID-19 was detected in the district. He is seen mostly on ground.
Hardly thinks of his health, every day ‘Tafazul Yousuf’ an accounts manager by profession, who is a part of a rapid response team (RRT) is battling all odds to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the distirct.
Hailing from Nusoo area of Bandipora district, he is on front foot to fight the spread of coronavirus in Bandipora.
He is heading the team which is assigned with the job of tracing the contacts of positive COVID-19 patients and those people having travel history abroad in and other parts of the country.
He is often visible on streets and villages, wearing a raincoat, gloves, mask on his face with a aim to help his people without caring much for his health.
Without fearing of his life he has left no stone unturned to trace the contacts ever since a patient was reported positive in Kehnusa village of Bandipora.
When contacted he utters
“I am working for the betterment of our society. When society is safe then everything is safe. He further added that Allah says whosoever cares for humanity will be rewarded & one who has saved a single human has saved entire humanity.
If Persons like Tafazul Yousuf (Government Employee) is available to render his service for this noble cause in the Valley then people will feel a sigh of relief from further worries of Covid-19. At this Juncture of time when humanity needs Unsung Heroes like Tafazul other Government employees on volunteer basis should come forward to give their helping hands to serve the humanity. History will never ever forget such unsung Heroes. (PTK)
