Meet Nazia: Famous Martial art player from Ganderbal

Ganderbal, 10 Jan (PTK) : A 17-year-old girl, Nazia Fareed, a resident of haripora village of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has so far won 20 gold medals at a district level, silver medal at the state level besides in different forms of martial art.

In a Candid talk with Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK), a class 11th student, Nazia fareed daughter of Fareed Ahmad a resident of haripora ganderbal Kashmir says that i was passionate about martial art since childhood.

She says that i joined martial arts camping with Mohammad Saleem Pathan, a martial art coach in Ganderbal district , she said, adding that, after attending coaching and camps, she started taking parts in martial arts competitions in different districts of the valley.

She says that besides martial art player, i am also a runner, rope skipping, throw ball and a wall climbing player.

So far i have won 20 gold medals at district level in running, martial art and rope skipping and a Silver medal at state level in running competition.

At last she said that my desire is to become a professional player in a martial art, To keep ourselves fit and healthy and to remain away from drugs, there is a need to take part in sports activities,” she adds. (PTK).
