Meet Humaira Jan:- A young rapper girl of Kashmir
Women empowerment remains main motive of my songs

Press Trust of Kashmir | Ganderbal : A young girl from Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has been writing rap songs and performing them which she uploads then on different social media platforms.
Humaira Jan (13) daughter of Mehraj ud din Magray resident of Thune kangan in Ganderbal who is a student of class 9th has been performing songs on issues but women empowerment remains her main focus.

“I was a student of class 2nd when first time heard hiphop and got interested in it and it was time when I decided to choose this field.” She said.
Since then I was writing songs and singing them too just to learn more and more about rap songs, she said, adding that last year got an opportunity to perform in a wrap battle in Manasbal through school and performed a rap song there and secured first position.
Since then I got more intersted in rap songs and have been performing in different competitions and few songs have been already released already which I have written besides that lyrics and music was given by me too, she added.
Main focus of my songs remain women empowerment and I want to see that women to get their rights and get their status what they deserve, she said.
She said that youth must follow their dreams with determination and one day they will definitely achieve their goal.:- PTK.
