*Media fraternity North Kashmir in deep shock over the demise of rising Kashmir correspondent*
BARAMULLA, Oct 1(PTK): In a tragic incident, a senior journalist of English daily newspaper, Rising Kashmir died of heart attack today afternoon in Pattan area after he was travelling to Srinagar.
The media fraternity of north Kashmir is in deep shock over the sudden death of their colleague and friend, Javid Ibn Nazir, a senior correspondent of Srinagar based English daily newspaper.
A senior Journalist, Gulzar Ahmad Zargar along with other members condoles over the sudden death of Javid Ahmad, according to him the deceased was very humble person, down to earth, he never compromised with his professional duties.
The deceased was associated with Srinagar based daily English Newspaper, Rising Kashmir from past ten years, adding he would be remembered for his journalistic acumen and endless service, humble gesture, said Gulzar Ahmad.
“We have not only loss a journalist but a true friend, he was always helpful to others, just two years back he completed his masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from Chennai, said Tahir-ul Haq, Early Times Correspondent from north Kashmir.
The entire media fraternity of north Kashmir is in deep shock over the sudden death of Javid Ahmad; they expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Javid Ibn Nazir, resident of Watergam village of Rafiabad area of this north Kashmir district was travelling to Srinagar on Thursday morning.
He suffered a massive heart attack near Pattan after which he was moved to Trauma Hospital Pattan, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.(PTK)
