Massive Search Operation Launched After Suspicious Movement in J&K’s Kathua

JAMMU: A large-scale search operation was initiated in a forested area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on Tuesday evening following reports of suspicious movement involving three individuals, officials reported.
The unusual activity was detected in Seda Sohal village within the Hiranagar sector around 7:45 PM. According to the officials, residents in the area raised an alarm after noticing the presence of the individuals, which prompted the suspects to flee into the nearby forest. During this commotion, a couple of gunshots were reportedly fired, believed to be from the suspects.
Upon receiving this information, police and security forces promptly responded by rushing to the location. A massive search operation was subsequently launched to locate and apprehend the individuals who had fled. The operation is ongoing as authorities comb through the forest area in an effort to track down the suspects.
