Manjit Singh Chairs Party Meeting, Expresses Profound Grief Over Weather Calamity, Demands Adequate Compensation for Victims

Jammu, April 21(PTK): Apni Party Provincial President Jammu Manjit Singh on Monday chaired a meeting of party leaders in Jammu.

The meeting was aimed at assessing the situation in Ramban and other areas across Jammu region.

Pertinently, in Ramban, heavy rainfall, flash floods, mudslides, and landslides have created havoc, causing the deaths of at least three people and extensive damage to property and vehicles over the past few days. While as some other areas across Jammu region have suffered property and crop losses due to the adverse weather conditions during past few days.

According to a press release issued here, during the meeting Apni Party leaders expressed grief and sorrow over the tragic situation caused by the severe weather conditions in several areas across Jammu province.

They expressed their heartfelt sympathy to those affected by this devastating situation.

Speaking on the occasion, Manjit Singh said that the Apni Party stands in solidarity with those affected by this painful situation.

He demanded adequate compensation for those who suffered the loss of their loved ones, as well as damage to their property, vehicles, and crops due to the weather calamity.”

The prominent party leaders who were present in the meeting included Aijaz Kazmi, Neelam Gupta, Abhay Bakaya, Vaibhav Mattoo, Dalbir Singh, Vicky Soodan, Sheikh Lateif, Davinder Gill, Farooq Chowhan, Chand ji Bhat, and others. (PTK)
