Man found hanging in Kakapora Pulwama

Pulwama, April 24 (PTK)  A man was found hanging in Laribal village of Kakapora belt of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Saturday afternoon.

An official said that the body was found hanging from a tree near his residence in Laribal.

He was identified as Ab Gani Dar (50), son of Ab Gani Dar residents of Laribal Pulwama.

The deceased is father of three sons and one daughter, locals said.

“It seems that he has committed suicide but we have started investigation into the case and we will get the actual cause” the official said

He said that a police team has taken body into their custody and after all legal formalities, body will be handed over to his family.

Pertinently, on 02 April this year, an encounter took place in his house at Kakapora which he had purchased recently after which his son Nawaz Ahmad was also arrested and booked under PSA. (PTK)
