Make Moral Science part of school curriculum to avoid Bandipora like gruesome episodes: Kadfeen tells Governor Admin
Srinagar, May 13: Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Monday termed the Bandipora rape most gruesome act ever witnessed in the recent times in Kashmir, stating that it has not only shocked the conscience stricken people but one and all across the state.
Kadfeen while demanding stern punishment to the culprits also requested the teachers and parents along with the civil society to impart moral education to children and make Ikhlaqiyaat (Moral Science) an inseparable part of the school curriculum. He added that all the saner voices of the society besides condemning the gruesome act in Bandipora should also put forth their views on how to make morally sound and value based education part of the schools so as to build a strong foundation for our society based on compassion and kindness.
Kadeeen said the religious leaders too need to play an important role in making the society a better place to live in. He added that instead of creating communal and sectarian wedges, the religious leaders must come out to deplore this gruesome incident unanimously and reveal it to the culprits that such actions will never find any societal acceptance in the state- place known in the world as abode of Saints and Sufis.
