Low/moderate snowfall likely in J&K in next 48 hours

As Jammu and Kashmir witnessed deficient precipitation this winter so far, weathermen has predicted, light to moderate snowfall in the UT in next 48 hours

Independent weather forecaster Faizan Arif said that, rain/snow of light to moderate intensity is expected at most places in Kashmir today on 11th January

Rain can also be there in some plains as temperatures may stay around 4-5°C, he saud, adding that a few places in higher reaches can record up to 2 feet of snow till tomorrow morning.”

“The main intensity of the western disturbance will be today, there are chances of rains in Srinagar with light snowfall( 50% chances),” he further added.

There are no chances of heavy snow fall in plains of kashmir, he said.(PTK)
