Srinagar, July 01(PTK): Lieutenant Governor Sh. Manoj Sinha chaired a high-level meeting and discussed issues concerning the families of terror victims, whose loved ones were brutally killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists. He stated that a toll-free number will be notified for the assistance of terror victim families.

He directed DCs and SSPs to reopen cases that were deliberately buried, file FIRs, and ensure that jobs are provided to the next of kin on priority.

He directed officers to identify those elements from the terror ecosystem who were involved in the killing of common Kashmiris and are currently working in government departments.

He said a special cell will be established in the LG Secretariat to address the concerns of these families. A similar cell will also be set up in the Chief Secretary’s office.

Every possible assistance will be provided to the terror victim families, and the culprits who have been roaming free for decades will be brought to justice. (PTK)
