LeT District Commander Killed in Chkroo Gunfight

SRINAGAR, (PTK): One militant killed in an Gunfight which was broke out between militants and government forces on Wednesday.

Officials told News agency Press Trust of Kashmir that The slain Militant has been identified as Irfan Ahmad, resident of Chakroo, Pulwama. He was affiliated with LET Militant outfit last 1 year.

Earlier, Government forces which including 55RR, SoG and CRPF launched cordon and search operation in Chakroo villages after following inputs about hiding of militants in area.

Meanwhile, Clashes also erupted between youths and government forces near encounter site at Chukroo village. Government forces use tear shells to disappeared crowd.

As a precautionary measure, Authorities snapped down internet service in Pulwama district.
