‘Leave Kashmir’ advisory: Omar Abdullah gets ‘No Answer’ from Governor
Srinagar, August 3: The political uncertainty and panic in the state of Jammu and Kashmir intensified on Saturday with the Government issuing an advisory to the pilgrims of the Amarnath Yatra to abandon their trip with immediate effect, fearing attack from militant.
The Government move triggered angry response from political leaders in Jammu and Kashmir and is one of the developments amid the chaos surrounding Article 370 and Article 35A.
National Conference (NC) leader Omar Abdullah met Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik on Saturday at Governor’s residence. After the meeting, Abdullah said that, “We wanted to know about the current situation in J&K. When we ask officials, they say something is happening, but nobody knows what is actually happening.” Article 35A and 370 Must Not Be Removed From Kashmir, Says NC MP Farooq Abdullah. (PTK)
