Lady among two dead, four injured after mentally unsound person attacked them in Anantnag

Press Trust Of Kashmir Srinagar Dec 23:- Two persons lost their lives while as four more were injured after they were attacked by mentally unsound person in Aishmuqam area of Anantnag district on Friday.

An official said that the incident took place at Aishmuqam area of the district as a mentally unsound person attacked them with his ‘Lathi”.

He said that all six injured were shifted to hospital, however, two of them have succumbed to their injuries.

The deceased person were identified as Ghulam Nabi Khadim son of Asadullah and Hafiza Begum, both residents of Aishmuqam.

He added that identity of injured persons is being ascertained and are under going treatment at GMC Anantnag.

He said a case has been registered with regard to the incident and mentally unsound person has been arrested while further investigation has been taken up.
