KVK Anantnag organises Live watching of ICAR Foundation Day Celebrations

ANANTNAG, JULY 16 PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Anantnag today organised a Live watching of ICAR Foundation Day for the local farmers and students of B Sc. Agriculture, under the able guidance of Head KVK Anantnag, Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Ganie at its Office Complex Navpora Dooru.

The live watching was organised so that students and farmers would have an understanding regarding the achievements of ICAR since its foundation, besides they would know about various success stories of the ICAR.

On the occasion, farmers were provided awareness regarding how to have better horticulture and agriculture produce this year keeping in view the weather conditions of the said area.

Scientists at KVK Anantnag discussed various aspects of ICAR and its role in doubling the income of the farmers in the country, besides various programmes and schemes of the government run for the welfare of farmers.

The farmers expressed gratitude for being invited for the live viewing of the said programme.
