Kupwara reverberates with patriotic songs, Har Ghar Tiranga slogans

Hundreds of rallies held

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KUPWARA, AUGUST 11: On the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir, all Educational Institutions  in the district including High and Higher Secondary schools held Hundreds of rallies in the nook and corner of the district as part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.

Hundreds of students including teachers participated with fervor and enthusiasm in the Tiranga rallies.

The Chief Education Officer (CEO), Kupwara, Abdul Hameed Fani led various rallies in Karnah subdivision. The border area Karnah situated near Line of actual control (LOC) reverberated with patriotic songs including ‘Saray Jahan Say Acha Hindustan Humara’ and ‘Ooncha Rahay Ga Jandah Humara’.

The Rallies that were led by CEO include Boys Higher Secondary School Kandi, GHSS Tangdar, HSS Nichyan, High School Baghbella and KGBV Tangdar.

Likewise, Tiranga Rallies were also conducted in all educational institutes of Zone Handwara, Sogam, Khumriyal, Langate, Trehgam, Kralpora and zones.

CEO Kupwara complimented the students and teachers for participating in Tiranga rallies in a big way. He said various innovative methods have been created by the students in showing their love for the Tiranga. Various schools composed patriotic songs on their own.

The CEO said that the Tiranga rally turned into a mass movement across the district. He said the programmes with regard to the Har Ghar Tirnaga campaign would continue till 15th of August.

Meanwhile, the National Flag was hoisted in Government Offices, ICDS centres, Educational Institutions, Hospitals, Municipalities etc.
