Kulgam: Militants offer gun salute to slain youth

Kulgam: Militants on Monday reportedly offered gun salute to a youth from south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, who succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Srinagar on Sunday night.

A group of militants appeared in Hawoora village shortly after the funeral of Javed Ahmad Lone was offered and fired several shots in air to pay homage to Lone, who became the seventh victim of the explosion that occurred at the gunfight site on Sunday.

Interestingly, the graveyard where militants offered gun salute to the slain youth is at a stone’s throw from the newly established army camp.
