Kulgam encounter:- 3 militants killed, 3 army man injured

SRINAGAR  JULY (PTK) Three militants were killed in an encounter that broke out between militants and government forces in Nagnad village of DH Pora belt of South kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday.

An official said that three militants were killed and 3 soliders received injuries in an exchange.

He further added that injured soliders were shifted to 92 base hospital for treatment.

Earlier an official said that a joint team of Police, army’s 9 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that as the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
