Kathua Rape Case Verdict LIVE: All Accused Called Inside Court as Judge Set to Pronounce Decision Soon

SRINAGAR, (PTK): Kathua Rape Case Verdict LIVE: Over a year after the brutal gang rape and murder of an eight-year-old nomadic girl in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua shook the conscience of the country, a Pathankot court will deliver its verdict in the case today.

The in-camera trial in the case ended on June 3, when district and sessions judge Tejwinder Singh had announced that the verdict was likely to be delivered on June 10. Elaborate security arrangements have been made in and around the court and in Kathua in view of the pronouncement of the judgment, officials said on Sunday. The situation will be monitored closely, they said.

All the seven accused have been beckoned to the court room. The verdict is likely to be delivered shortly
