Kashmir’s “Treeman” invited by TISS Tata institute of social science, Mumbai, to participate in the second edition of “Igniting Future”

SRINAGAR, JUNE 16: Abdul Hamid Bhat of Rahim Greens, popularly known as “Treeman” of Kashmir has been invited by TISS Tata institute of social science, Mumbai, to participate in the second edition of “Igniting Future”.
“Igniting Future” is an annual flagship event hosted at TISS Mumbai.
“Your presence would honor us greatly as we gather to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship. Through the years, the incubation centre at TISS has been instrumental in nurturing ventures, driving economic growth, and fostering sustainable change. This year we eagerly continue our mission of fostering dialogue, collaboration and recognition within the entrepreneurship ecosystem, reads the invitation letter sent to Hamid.
“Your esteemed support is invaluable to us as we endeavor to commemorate achievements, foster collaborations, and kindle thevflames of future innovations,” mentions the letter.
Notably, “Igniting Future” serves as an engagement platform that brings together stakeholders from diverse platforms, including rural, tribal, and technology entrepreneurs, investors, industry experts, academics and students keen on pursuing entrepreneurship.
Abdul Hamid Bhat who started as a scooter mechanic is also the owner of Rahim Motors, one of the biggest automobile workshops in Srinagar. But his passion is to create Green spaces in the Kashmir Valley. He uses substantial chunk of his earnings from automobile business and invests in a venture called Rahim Greens.
