Kashmir School Holiday: Schools to reopen from Monday, extra classes for missed days
Schools in Kashmir region will region will resume classed from Monday onwards- August 19, 2019. Government offices situated in Kashmir are also set to reopen from tomorrow. As per reports, about 190 schools in Kashmir will resume classes. The education department has planned extra classes for students to cover up the loss of past ten days. The safety of students will be considered as prime concern. There is no update on colleges and universities yet.

Besides schools and government offices, allied offices are also expected to reopen from tomorrow- August 19, 2019. Other restrictions in the valley will also be lifted by the end of next week. The administration is planning to ease restrictions imposed in the valley following revocation of Article 370. All restrictions in Jammu, Kathua, Samba, udhampur and Reasi regions were abolished on August 10, 2019. Educational institutuions and schools were reopened in these regions on August 10, 2019.
