Kashmir PHE joint employees Association unit water works Srinagar staged protest against hooliganism & high handedness from officers .

Srinagar September 12 (PTK) Kashmir PHE joint employees association unit water works division on Saturday staged protest aganist alleged hooliganism from some officers.

While protesting, they raised slogans like we want justice, take action aganist corrupt officers who according to them are involved in high handedness with casual labours.

Leader of the association said that some officers posted water works division Srinagar and Alastang filtration plant are harassing casual labours without any reason.

According to PTK, He also alleged that a JE and AE posted at Alastang filtration plant have been continuously harassing our casual labour on whom whole department is dependent.

He added that we have already contacted chief Engineer in this regard after which a committee was constituted, however, their decisions were not implemented on ground.

He further added that if department fails to take action aganist these corrupt,there will be tool down strike and if there any wrong consequences, concerned authorities will be responsible.(PTK)
