Kashmir may witness biggest change ever in coming days

SRINAGAR, (PTK): In the coming days , the petitions challenging Article-35A will be heard in supreme court .
Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a long night of speculations and apprehensions as some reports kept on to roam the social media suggesting centre will trickle the Article-35A on the next hearing ( scheduled between 25-28 February).

The valley has been put on high-alert while top tens Jamaat-Islami leaders have been arrested during this night.

The JKLF Chairman Mohammed Yasin Malik has been arrested this night.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has has urgently sent 100 companies of CRPF , BSF , SSB and ITBF . Among the 100 companies , 45 will be from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 35 from the Border Security Force (BSF), whereas just 10 are from the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Indo-Tibetan Boder Police (ITBP) each.

In fax , it’s qouted, “CRPF is requested to ensure immediate movement of forces in coordination with IG (Ops) of all forces”.

The word “immediate” has created fear and confusion among people. Social Media has been flooded with the rumours.

While calling the news about trickling of article 35A baseless , a police officer said that the additional forces have been sent to valley in views of upcoming elections and the forces have been airlifted as because Jammu-Srinagar highway is closed.

The election are soon to be held in India , and to win the support centre may come up with unexpected decision and Kashmir may witness a biggest change since 1947. Arrest of leaders , rushing of additional forces to the state is something that is to be watched on the hearing. (PTK)
