Kadfeen urges Governor to release pending wages of PHE daily wagers 

Jammu, Apr 10:  Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Wednesday urged the governor administration to release the wages of thousands of PHE daily wages whose families are suffering due to government’s dilatory style of functioning.

In a statement, Kadfeen said that it is ironic how the government is adopting an inhuman and indifferent attitude towards these PHE daily wagers- denying their wages for months together, thinking little about the miseries their families have to go through due to such pathetic decision making.  “If a wager earner is working from dawn to dusk round the year and is taking every order of his seniors, how could you deny him what is rightfully his?,” asks Kadfeen.

He maintained further that the way in which the daily wagers are putting hard efforts to keep the department running is appreciable and it is deeply worrying that the government is hellbent to push them towards the wall.

The Congress leader urged the governor to personally intervene into the matter and release the pending wages of these PHE daily wagers without any further delay. He added that it would be disastrous for the department if these wage earners in unison go for a strike and stop working at the crucial junctions of the department.
