Jt. Director JSK inspects several schools in district Jammu
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR JAMMU, AUGUST 27: Joint Director (JSK), Subah Mehta, conducted a surprise inspection of several Government Schools of District Jammu.
The Joint Director inspected Government Girls Middle School Chak Changerwan, Chinore and Government Middle School, Kerain on the day of Parent- Teacher Meeting (PTM) and directed the Head of the Institutions (Hots) to improve the work culture and raise the standard of education.

Stress was laid on holding Remedial/Special classes for the slow achiever students and to make optimum utilization of library and ICT labs; teachers were asked to focus on improvement of the basic fundamental skills of the students including listening, speaking, reading and writing; Making optimum utilisation of the Morning Assembly to make the children aware about the basic concepts; focusing on grammatical portion of the students, preparing worksheets on the topics and to inculcate in them the habit of book reading; imparting awareness to the students about various Scholarship Schemes so as to ascertain their bright future; fortnightly monitoring of the working of teachers ; Laying primary stress on the academic part of the students and ensure the use of Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) and furnishing action taken report to the office of Joint director within 15 days positively.
