Joint Operation Yields Seizure of Drone and Heroin Near Amritsar’s Border
Border Security Force (BSF) troops and Punjab Police successfully executed a search operation near the International Border in Amritsar, leading to the recovery of a drone and over 500 grams of heroin. Acting on specific information, the operation unfolded on the outskirts of Dhanoe Khurd village in Amritsar on Saturday evening.
The joint forces’ vigilant search yielded significant results as a China-made quadcopter and a packet containing 545 grams of heroin were discovered in a field. The interception highlights the collaborative efforts in maintaining border security and combating illegal activities.
