JKPL condemn crackdown on pro-freedom camp

SRINAGAR, (PTK): The Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League has strongly denounced the crackdown, mass arrests and continued nocturnal raids across Kashmir and slammed the arrest of resistance leaders which Include Party Chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza,Muhammad Yasin Malik, Ameer-e-Jamaaat Hameed Fayaz,other Jammat leaders,Vice Chairman Jamiat Ahlihadith Mushtaq Ahmad Veeri and the other Party leaders and members which include Mohammad Rafiq dar,Eng Fayaz Ahmad,Fayaz bhat and Bashir Ahmad Rather.

Senior Party leader Nisar Ahmad Rather in a statement to press said that, “By resorting to arbitrary and illegal arrests , detentions intimidation and restrictions the rulers will not achieve anything as in the past, nor will it force the people of Kashmir into submission.

“New Delhi must understand that Kashmir dispute will not be written off from the pages of history by using force to suppress the people’s voice,”he said. (PTK)
