J&K Police destroyed seized narcotic drugs & psychotropic substances in Sopore

Sopore,September 26[PTK]: In compliance with the directions of the Hon’ble Special Court (NDPS) Baramulla, Police in Sopore today destroyed a large quantity of seized narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances through incineration at the approved facility in Lassipora, Pulwama.

The drugs were seized in multiple NDPS cases registered across different Police Stations in Police District Sopore. The destruction process was carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions of the NDPS Act and Rules, 2022, ensuring all legal formalities were followed.

This action reaffirms firm commitment of J&K Police in eliminating the narcotics menace and ensuring that seized substances are disposed off in a transparent and lawful manner.[PTK]
