JK People’s Party Chief Sheeban Ashai lambasts Farooq Abdullah over Dulat’s revelations.
Srinagar, 16th April(PTK): Responding strongly to former RAW Chief A.S.Dulat’s shocking revelations, JK People’s Party Chief Sheeban Ashai lashed out at Farooq Abdullah for ad neuseum decieving Kashmiri nation over last four and a half decades. He said, “Farooq Abdullah is a man who refuses to rectify himself, this same very man is responsible for killings of over two lakh people due to the unabashed rigging of 1987. He is the same man who hijacked principal party Kashmiris trusted in 1982 and turned it into a political outfit of discreditable turncoats, collaborators and renegades. He is the same fellow how abused towering stalwarts of kashmiri movement who sacrificed everything for Kashmir; spearheaded a political movement for about half a century from 1929 to 1975 and termed them ‘traitors’. He is collaborator who in 1996 despite repeated assurances from Government of India, gave precedence to chair over interests of people of Jammu And Kashmir. He despite having no merit what so ever dissolved only platform formed for persevering for cause of restoration of Article’s 370 and 35A and thereby pushed another dagger in backs of Kashmiri people. Dulat, Farooq Abdullah’s man Friday in New Delhi has today exposed his own friend in front of entire whole world. Farooq Abdullah’s dubious role in Kashmiri politics is only next to treachery of Mir Sadiq in books of history. Amarjeet Singh Dulat reveals in his book that Farooq Abdullah privately backed the unconditional, unilateral abrogation of Article 370. He writes, Farooq Abdullah in course of a conversation told dulat that he and his party would have helped pass the proposal of abrogation of special status of erstwhile Jammu Kashmir State. He resented that New Delhi didn’t take him into confidence. Ashai stated that truth had to come out and it’s an eye opener for all Kashmiri leaders, separatists or main stream that all their dealings behind closed doors would one day come to fore and they would have to answer Kashmiri people. He blamed politicians like Farooq who betrayed everyone be it Kashmiris, Pakistan or India for the present situation of citizens of Kashmir. Ashai claimed Farooq Abdullah’s politics is over in Kashmir and Dulat’s shocking revelation is final nail in coffin of Farooq Abdullah’s faction of NC. It’s high time Kashmiri people make him accountable for countless betrayls of last four decades, from hijacking real National confrence which was an odd shoot of reading room party, Muslim confrence and Plebiscite front to using hard core militants of JKLF for party politics. Farooq Abdullah’s dubious agency dealing with both Indian and pakistani agencies have no place in J&K. New generation of kashmiris reject such despicable double speak, treacherous polity and it’s high time Kashmiri politicians see the writing on the wall”. (PTK)
