Janata Curfew observed in Ganderbal in letter & Spirit

Ganderbal, MARCH 22(PTK): people of Ganderbal observed Janata Curfew in  district in letter and spirit, by remaining confined to their home.

The markets and roads were diserted since early morning. There was no movement on roads of the district since morning.
Several law forcing agencies were seen on the roads to enforce the restrictions in the district.

The main aim of Janta Curfew was  to aware people regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease and curb the spread of infection across the country.

The UT administration had appealed public to observe Janta Curfew on Sunday by remaining in their homes from 5 am to 9pm  except for medical emergencies.

Pertinently, District administration Ganderbal has taken slew of measures to contain the spread of the deadly infection in the district including imposing Section 144 under CrPc and restriction on public transport in the district.(PTK)
