Death toll rises 2510 with fifty two new deaths

Srinagar, May 05 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported highest ever daily spike of 4716 fresh positive cases of COVID, and fifty two new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 196586.

These cases include 1463 from Jammu division and 3178 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.

The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports twenty four deaths, while Jammu division reports twenty eight new deaths, taking the death toll to 2510 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 1125 cases were reported from Srinagar, 511 from Baramulla, 277 from Budgam, 362 from Pulwama, 148 from Kupwara, 255 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 96, Ganderbal 108, Kulgam 238, Shopian 78, Jammu 598, Udhampur 165, Rajouri 175, Doda 28, Kathua 158, Samba 124, Kishtwar 39, Poonch 92, Ramban 102 and Reasi 37.

Moreover, they said, 2338 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 544 from Jammu division and 1794 from Kashmir division.

They further said, Out of 52 deaths, 15 died in GMC Jammu, 01 in MCH Wing(GMC), 02 in GMC Rajouri, 02 In ASCOMS Jammu, 01 in AKG Kathua, 01 in SDH Mendhar, 02 in Home (Brought Dead), 01 in DH Kishtwar, 01 in MH Satwari, 02 in SSH Jammu, 01 in CD Hospital Srinagar, 04 in SKIMS Soura, 08 in SMHS Srinagar, 04 in GMC Baramulla, 03 in DH Pulwama, 02 in JLNM Srinagar, 01 in GMC Anantnag and 01 in MCH Bijbehara.— (PTK)
