Srinagar April 29 (PTK) Jammu and Kashmir today reported highest ever daily spike of 3474 fresh positive cases of COVID, and twenty six new deaths, taking the total tally cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 172551.
These cases include 1024 from Jammu division and 2450 from the Kashmir valley, as per the details provided in media bulletin by DIPR.
The details mentioned that Kashmir valley reports nine new deaths, while Jammu division reports seventeen new deaths, taking the death toll to 2253 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Dividing the cases district wise, it mentioned that 1,017 cases were reported from Srinagar, 429 from Baramulla, 268 from Budgam, 137 from Pulwama, 71 from Kupwara, 228 from Anantnag, while Bandipora 51, Ganderbal 57, Kulgam 181, Shopian 11, Jammu 489, Udhampur 128, Rajouri 111, Doda 48, Kathua 58, Samba 77, Kishtwar 21, Poonch 32 Ramban 17 and Reasi 43.
Moreover, they said, 1617 patients were discharged from from various hospitals including 710 from Jammu division and 907 from Kashmir division.
Further they said, out of 25 deaths, 07 died in GMC Jammu, 01 in DH Udhampur, 01 in Military Hospital, 01 in GMC Doda, 01 in CHC Basantgarh, 01 in GN Hospital (MCH), 02 in GMC Kathua, 03 Home (Brought Dead), 02 in JLNM Srinagar, 01 in SKIMS Soura, 01 in GMC Baramulla, 02 in GMC Anantnag, 02 in DH Pulwama, 01 in CD Hospital Srinagar (PTK)
