Inter District Provincial Level competitions of “YOGA” Girls AAG commence in District Budgam
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR BUDGAM, JULY 22: The ongoing competitions of Inter District provincial Level Girls AAG commences today at Indoor Sports Stadium Budgam.
Chairman DDC Budgam, Nazir Ahmad Khan, who was the chief guest on the occasion declared the competition open. ADDC Budgam Dr Akramullah Tak, ADC Budgam, Dr Nasir Ahmad, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Kashmir Bashir Ahmad, Gurmukh Singh Dutta DYSSO Budgam were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC Chairman Budgam Nazir Ahmad Khan advised the participants that “Yoga is a great practice for both the body and the mind, it offers peace and mindfulness to its lovers and helps them get through daily stress.”
He also forwarded his best wishes to the sports department as well as participants and assured the sports department for any kind of support from his end.
The competitions are running smoothly under the guidance and supervision of DYSSO Budgam in which the participants from the Kashmir Division are participating.

Nowshera Forest Division, HDFC Bank Sunderbani conduct plantation drive
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR NOWSHERA, JULY 22: A plantation drive was conducted under Har Gaon Hariyali here at Government Boys Middle School Sunderbani by Nowshera Forest Division in collaboration with HDFC Bank under its CSR initiative. A total 150 saplings of different varieties were planted during the event.
The plantation drive was successfully conducted in presence of Dr. Vandana Gupta, Principal Govt Degree College Sunderbani; Rita Nargotra, Principal Government Boys Middle School Sunderbani; Rakesh Verma, Range Officer Sunderbani, Rangeel Singh, B.O Sunderbani, Bank staff Perminder Singh(BOM), Taranjit Singh(BM), other bank staff and staff members of the school.
The Principal GDC Sunderbani appreciated the joint effort of the Forest Department and HDFC bank and urged holding more such events in near future. The school authorities also welcomed the joint effort.
The whole event was conducted under the direct supervision of Vivek Verma, Conservator of Forests West Circle Rajouri and Neelima Shah Divisional Forest Officer Nowshera.
