IIM Kashmir to get a new off campus centre in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, (PTK): The new logo and the official website of Indian Institute of Management, Kashmir will soon be revealed by the Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal. The ministry officials also announced that the institute will soon have an off centre campus in Srinagar.

An official of the IIM Jammu said that the new logo and the official website of the institute will be inaugurated by Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ Minister of Human Resource Development at the conference.

Milind Pralhad Kamble, Chairman of Board of Governors, IIM Jammu and Professor B S Sahay Director of IIM Jammu among other officials and dignitaries are expected to be present at the function. The institute was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development on 13th October 2016 making it the 20th IIM in the country. The new logo has been designed by the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.

The website being launched is said to be instrumental in furnishing details about the institute, administrative activities, programs conducted at IIM Jammu, faculties, achievements of the faculty and the activities of the student committees. The website will also have information on the various activities of the student clubs at the institute and their scheduled events. (PTK)
