Hundreds killed as lightning struck on livestock in Kupwara

Kupwara, June 04 (PTK): Lightning kills more than a hundred livestock in Tumana area of Chowkibal in Kupwara district last night.

Reports reaching to PTK said that the nomads, who had arrived in the area two days ago, had erected temporary shelters in a nearby forest. They had kept their livestock in the open sky.

A team of district administration and police has been deputed to the site to inquire into the incident and to access the losses.(PTK)
