Gunfight rages out in Sopore Village

SRINAGAR  JULY (PTK)Gunfight rages out between militants and Government forces in Reban village of Sopore North Kashmir Baramulla district on saturday morning.

Officials said that contingents of Army 22 RR, SOG Sopore,and CRPF, 92 BTN, Baramulla QRT and Police cordoned off the Reban village.

As the forces intensified the searches, hiding militants in the area opened fire, leading to a gun fight which was going on when last reports came in.

Sources said two Lashkar-e-Toaiba militants believed to be trapped in the area
