Group of Leopards Roaming in Check Noorpora Village of Tral, Locals Express Fear and Concern

Pulwama, April 11: Residents of Check Noorpora village in Tral have reported sightings of a group of leopards roaming in the area during late evening hours over the past few days. The presence of these wild animals has sparked fear and concern among the local community. They have demanded immediate intervention from wildlife officials to address the issue.
The residents of Check According to the villagers, the frequent sightings of leopards in close proximity to their homes and surroundings have created a wave of fear and anxiety among them. “The presence of these predators has created a sense of insecurity among the locals, especially during the night hours when the chances of encountering these wild animals are higher,” said a group of villagers while talking to Press Trust of Kashmir.
They have urged wildlife officials to take prompt action to curb the movement of leopards in the area and ensure the safety of the villagers. They are calling for measures to be put in place to prevent any potential conflicts between humans and wildlife, as well as to protect the local community from any possible harm.
Meanwhile, the authorities have placed a cage around the locality to capture & contain the movements of leopards and mitigate the risks associated with their presence.
